Arunachalee Engineergets software patented
ITANAGAR, Nov 19: Ani Taggu, the first software engineer from Arunachal Pradesh to work in the Silicon Valley, California, has again done the state proud by successfully patenting one of his works titled ‘Method and System for Virtual Prototyping’ in November this year in USA. His team worked for 3 years before filing for international patent in 2001 and US patent in 2002. After successful international class abstract patent,
the USA patent office granted him the US patent no. 7613599 this year.
The invention is an advanced software system that enables electronic compilers to create prototypes of mobile phones, automobile control systems. Such prototypes accelerate design of embedded systems like mobile phones drastically. Ani Taggu, an M. Tech from IIT Kharagpur, is currently a faculty member at Rajiv Gandhi University, Arunachal Pradesh.
He is the son of Taling Taggu and Opet Taggu of Aalo and from a humble background.
His twin brother, Dr. Wasing Taggu, first MRCP in the state is currently pursuing CCT (Interventional Cardiology) in the East of England Deanery in the UK. This should encourage local students in their field of expertise to pursue their dreams.
