The Department of Computer Science & Engineering at Rajiv Gandhi University organized a three-day National Seminar on "Emerging AI Technologies for Sports Biomechanics and Drone Application" from September 17 to 19, 2026, hosted across the Mini Auditorium and the Department's Smart Theatre. Inaugurated in the presence of Chief Guest Shri Nyamar Karbak (Hon’ble Chairman, Department of IT & Communication, Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh), Guest of Honour Shri Bamin Tarang (Director HRD & E, NEC, Shillong), and Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor Prof. Shivaraj, the seminar served as an interdisciplinary platform exploring artificial intelligence integration across aerial robotics and athletic performance analytics. Over the course of three days, expert technical sessions and interactive forums featured prominent resource persons from leading institutions and industry—including IIT Guwahati, Gauhati University, Aligarh Muslim University, and Qoptars Pvt. Ltd.—delivering in-depth insights into advanced biomechanical sensing, sports psychology and cutting-edge drone technologies before concluding with a formal valedictory session.
