Content Contribution, Moderation and Approval Policy

Rajiv Gandhi University shall publish website content through a documented process that establishes responsibility for its preparation, verification, approval and publication.
Responsibilities
The University shall designate the following responsibilities:
- Contributor: An authorised departmental representative who prepares content and supplies supporting documents.
- Moderator: An authorised reviewer who checks accuracy, completeness, language, accessibility and suitability for publication.
- Approver: The Web Information Manager or another officially authorised officer who approves the final version.
- Publisher: An authorised website administrator who publishes the approved material.
Content preparation and review
The contributor shall identify the issuing department, document title, publication date, validity period where applicable, and contact details for clarification.
Review shall cover factual accuracy, working links, appropriate attribution, permission for third-party material, protection of personal information, and accessible presentation. Notices and downloadable documents shall include the information users need to identify and use them.
Translations shall be checked for consistency with the approved content. Related language versions shall be updated together wherever applicable, with incomplete translations clearly identified.
Approval and records
A record shall identify the approved version, contributor, reviewer, approver and relevant dates. Publication shall follow approval. Subsequent substantive changes shall undergo the same process.
Urgent corrections shall be authorised and recorded. Technical publishing access alone shall not constitute authority to approve content.
