Bio
I am an early-career field archaeologist and anthropologist from the Indian state of Manipur. My research interests are megaliths, pottery remains, and other forms of archaeological remains in Northeast India. I have participated in numerous archaeological surveys and excavations in South and Northeast India. I hold an MPhil degree (2019) in archaeology from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. My passion for this field led me to pursue a PhD, which I completed, and I earned a doctorate degree (2023) in archaeology from the same university.
In my department, I teach Archaeology, Research Methodology, Research Ethics and Publications, and History of South East Asia. I am dedicated to producing and training the first generation of archaeologists in the Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh, where little research has been conducted so far.
