Coded in FORTRAN and Graphics Kernel System for vector graphics with point, line, polygons and text in early 1990s. Joined Rajiv Gandhi University, the then Arunachal University in 1993 and continuing; with one intervening year as professor in Geoinformatics at Adikavi Nannaya University. Established Labs, conducted guided field visits to various parts of Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, West Bengal, Sikkim and other NE States. Anchored EDUSAT in RGU, Collaborating with IMD for GNSS based weather monitoring; BARC for Radon monitoring as a precursor for earthquake; signed MoU with NRSC for Lighting Detection. Associated with the Department of Geology and Mining, Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh as consultant for geolocation and mining tenement system. Involved in campus developmental initiatives like Campus wide LAN, inventory of Laboratories, monitoring and verifying purchases, construction and designs, campus beatification. Acted as Meditation ambassador for RGU. As Director, IUGS, currently managing the Undergraduate programmes offered in the University. Offering Post graduate Diploma in Geoinformatics in the Department from 2015 onwards. Assisting the University admission processes - CUET-UG and CUET-PG, RGU's own Entrance Test RGUCET and PhD admission processes- RGUPET. During the course of academic progress, organized capacity building programmes for research scholars and colleagues in affiliated colleges to strengthen Remote Sensing and GIS, organized sponsored conferences; attended regional, national, international conferences; notably with galaxies of Scholars of Association of American Geographers, at Seattle, USA, shared platform in the conclave of scholars associated with Russian Academy of Sciences at Moscow, shared works on eastern Himalayas water resource and springshed conservation at Gold Coast, Australia among internationally renowned environmental researchers and practitioners, besides others.
