Dr. Neeraj K. Vasistha is an Assistant Professor and Head (I/c), Department of Genetics and Plant Breeding, Rajiv Gandhi University, Arunachal Pradesh. He holds a Ph.D. in Genetics and Plant Breeding from Banaras Hindu University. His research focuses on wheat genetics and breeding, disease resistance, molecular breeding, GWAS, marker-assisted selection, transcriptomics, and KASP marker development. He has extensive research and teaching experience and has published research articles in reputed international journals. He has received prestigious fellowships and research grants from DBT, UGC, and SERB-DST and is actively involved in teaching, research supervision, academic administration, and wheat improvement research.
