About the Faculty of Engineering and Technology
The Faculty of Engineering & Technology was constituted in the year 2005 by the Department of Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) by the motive to generate, communicate and apply knowledge in Computer Science and Engineering, including interdisciplinary areas that extend its scope and benefit to the society. With an aim to enhance quality life and values in the field of education, Interdisciplinary Research and Entrepreneurship was introduced, whence, the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) was instituted in the year 2015. The Department of CSE has offered BCA, MCA, M. Tech., PGDCA & PhD programmes till date. Apart from this, the Department of ECE offers M. Tech. programme from the initiation. In the field of Research and Innovation, the Faculties of CSE & ECE have carried out their contributions in Research over the areas of MEMS and Sensors, Embedded System, Wireless Communication and Signal Processing, Speech Processing, Wireless Communication, Machine Learning. Moreover, the Faculties have accomplished inter departmental collaborative research in areas like Bio-medical Engineering, Robotics and Artificial Intelligence. Recently, Robotics Lab has been set up by the CSE Department to develop the work environment for Advanced Research in interdisciplinary manner in the frontier areas of Engineering and Technology. However, various funding agencies have granted research funds to the deserving Faculties of Engineering & Technology for their research contributions.
In persistent pursuit of excellence, very competent and dedicated teachers are engaged in this Faculty of Engineering and Technology, which in turn have helped to develop a solid Academic and technical, experience of the students, so that they can outshine in their careers as responsible citizens and contribute towards modernization in Engineering and Technology.
