  • Dr. Jyoti Jaiswal is an Assistant Professor of Physics at Rajiv Gandhi University, Arunachal Pradesh, India. She has worked as a full-time Postdoctoral Fellow (Lady Davis Fellowship) at The Racah Institute of Physics, The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel. Before joining Hebrew University, she has also worked as CSIR-Postdoctoral Research Associate at Institute Instrumentation Centre (IIC), Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee, India. Jyoti earned Ph.D. degree in Experimental Condensed Matter Physics (Nanoscience and Nanotechnology) form IIT Roorkee India in January 2019. She has done her M.Tech. (Optoelectronics and Optical Communication) from IIT Delhi in 2013, and M.Sc. (Physics) from DDU Gorakhpur University in 2010, India.
  • My research interests lie in developing novel nanostructured thin films of various materials such as 2D materials (TMDs), Oxides, Metals, Carbides, Nitrides, semiconductors, etc. by PVD techniques, porous silicon by electrochemical anodization, and Perovskite material by spin coating in evolving a range of Nanophotonic, Optoelectronic, bio/chemical sensing & biomedical devices, Solar Cells, and Supercapacitors. I explore fundamental properties of nanomaterials like microstructural, compositional, surface, electrical, optical, electronic and electrochemical by using a range of characterizing tools and application setups.
